The role of the faculty advisor is extremely important in the preparation for any Model UN Conference. MUNFW is no exception. The faculty advisor is typically an instructor who is responsible for student preparation and oversees their performance during the Model UN Conference. Typically, the Faculty advisor has prior Model UN experience, but it is not required. Unlike other Model United Nations simulations, MUNFW believes that participating academic institutions are the stakeholders of the organization. The Faculty advisor acts as the representative of the institution in MUNFW Membership and should be available during Membership meetings at the annual conference. There is a lot of information that the advisor will review and evaluate.
More information on Membership can be found here.
