The Republic of Cuba opens its speech by thanking all the members of the MUN organization, especially during these tough times. “COVID-19 has affected us all,” Cuba exclaims. We have watched economies crash and countries close themselves off. Cuba says that as time passes we are a “united front against an enemy we cannot see” which is COVID-19. The Global Economy is Cuba’s main concern in the notion of “leaving no on behind” as they want an economy that “works in the favor of all countries rather than just the wealthiest.”
